In addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy OverBoard Sports ran contests are ran with the following set of rules:
-
All contests on the OverBoard Sports app have no affiliation or sponsorship with Apple INC.
All prizes are sponsored by OverBoard Sports and NOT any other 3rd party.
All contests do not pay out any real currency through the application.
-
You must be 18 yeas of age AND physically located in the USA to participate in any OverBoard Sports contest.
-
Each player on OverBoard Sports may only maintain and use one account. Use of more than one account may result in account termination or suspension. Upon termination, any prizes you've won may be revoked or withheld.
-
All contests are free, and you will not be required to pay to enter.
Contests require no entry, and have a payout provided by OverBoard Sports. You must submit an entry for admission into the free contest for the chance to win.
-
Prizes are clearly displayed in-app before entering
Prize structure may include:
Tokens with no monetary value
Other rewards sponsored by OverBoard Sports
Important:
All prizes are funded, provided and awarded by OverBoard Sports
Prizes are awarded based on final rankings
Not all participants will receive a prize
-
All open contests that are completed on OverBoard Sports have a predetermined prize and number of entrants. If a contest is unfilled 15 minutes before start time, a notification will be sent to all users giving them time to opt out due to the prize structure.
-
Because each contest contains 1 or more games, a contest remains open while there is a game that has not started (if halftime props are available the game will remain open). A contest will FULLY lock when there are no props remaining for any of the games inside a contest.
-
All contests have limits on the maximum number of entries that a single user may submit. These limits will be specified in the description of each contest.
-
To cancel an entry, message our support at support@everythingparlays.com
-
If a game is unable to be finished, the contest will cancel and any tokens will be refunded (if tokens are involved).
Tokens have no monetary value.
-
Each board has a maximum of 9 spots that may or may not be filled. You can choose to leave any spots open to add any props from another game, or halftime pros.
-
Currently on the app, there is no way to see if a player is injured. If a player has props open, but becomes injured their props will be hidden. HOWEVER, if you have any of the player's props in your board, you will have to manually remove them.
Notifications will be sent as injury reports and other news become available to remind you to switch out any props you may have. If you do not switch out props prior to the event starting, your injured player will be LOCKED.
-
In the event that a player gets injured during an event, any props for that player will be scored AS IS. Meaning, if Patrick Mahomes gets hurt at 120 yards, 30 yards, or even 5 yards, his progress for ANY prop will remain that number and will be scored based on his stats prior to injury.
For late pre-game injuries view the drop down before this.

How Points Are Calculated
Each prop on your board has an individual point value derived from its real-world probability of hitting. The less likely a prop is to occur, the more points it is worth if it does. Point values are calculated as follows:
Individual prop value: ((1 - P) / P) × 100, where P is the probability of the prop hitting. For example, a prop with a 20% chance of hitting is worth approximately 300 points ((0.80 / 0.20) × 100).
Bingo Scoring (3-in-a-Row)
When three props in a row hit on your board — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — a Bingo bonus is awarded in place of the individual point values for those three squares. The Bingo bonus is calculated using the decimal odds of each prop in the row:
Bingo value: ((D1 × D2 × D3) − 1) × 100, where D is the decimal odds format for each prop. For example, props with values of 120, 80, and 200 points convert to decimal odds of 2.20, 1.80, and 3.00, yielding a Bingo bonus of ((2.20 × 1.80 × 3.00) − 1) × 100 = 1,088 points.
Board Total
Your final board score is the sum of all individual prop points (for props that did not contribute to a Bingo) plus any Bingo bonuses earned. A board may contain multiple Bingos, each scored separately and added to your total.
Strategic Value of Each Square
Not all squares on your board carry equal strategic value. Due to the way Bingos are formed across rows, columns, and diagonals, each position on the board has a different maximum number of possible Bingos it can contribute to:
The center square can participate in up to 4 Bingos
Corner squares can each participate in up to 3 Bingos
All other squares can each participate in up to 2 Bingos
Choosing higher-value props for squares with greater Bingo potential is a key part of board strategy.
Final Standings
A player's final contest score is their total board score once all games within the contest have concluded. In the event of a stat correction after games end, scores will be updated accordingly.
-
If a contest closes and your board is NOT filled out, your entry will still be scored based off of the existing props you have and any missing sqares will be scored as 0 points.
-
Any entry can use players from any eligible sport inside of a eontest. During board creation for a contest, you must select players from at least TWO teams. If a users board is incredibly similar to another’s, their team may be rejected and will be asked to change their board more.
-
We try to settle contests and provide prizes as quickly as possible, but must ensure we do so accurately. Once the last game in a contest finishes, the scores and stats will be finalized. Please note there can sometimes be last minute changes to any stats along with any potential stat corrections.
